• Eng. Ihab Al-Ghussazin , spokesman of the ministry of Interior and national security , has confirmed that the continuing Fatah charges , which allege that there is a wide campaign of arrests and summons against its cadres in the strip will disrupt reconciliation waiting by Palestinian people
.
Al-Ghussain added in a press statement to the middle east News Agency in Gaza that these continuing charges ,which recently increased comes to cover the arrests campaign against Hamas supports in West Bank
.
In this context Al-Ghussain denied the existence of any political prisoners in Reform and Rehabilitation Centers in Gaza ,adding that the security services don’t arrest anyone for his political affiliation
.
He continued , despite the existence of hundreds of Hamas supporters prisoners in West Bank Jails we put pressure on ourselves to not talk about them to create a proper atmosphere to apply reconciliation .
Regarding what is announced by Fatah movement around the names of its presoners in the Reform and Rehabilitation Centers in Gaza since the events of 2007 to release them , Al-Ghussain said that the Fatah list included 34 names has been studied to discover that 10 accused in a collaboration with occupation ,9 accused in direct killing and others carried out a riot actions during division
.
In a gesture of goodwill Eng. Ismail Haneiya has released 10 prisoners were attempt to riot in the Gaza strip .
The spokesman of the ministry of interior noted that the ministry cannot release the rest of list without a legislative council decision or the decision of general amnesty
.
According to the agreement with Hamas to return the cadres of Fatah to the Gaza strip again , Al-Ghussain said that Fatah offered a list including 107 prisoners demanding to return them but the security services refused that this list including criminals wanted for trail .
He added ,"We as an executive direction do not prevent anyone from entering Gaza and do not force anyone to come out of it, but if they were allowed to enter them for the strip and the court wanted them we will also hand over them to be tried.
