Eng. Ihab Al-Ghusain, a spokesman for Ministry of Interior and National Security Ministry, has denied preventing a member of Fatah fugitives abroad from entering the Gaza Strip, considering Gaza as a home for all.

Al-Ghusain said in a statement to the Interior Ministry's website on Monday: "Our position on the subject of Fatah members is clearly. Not only we did not prevent anyone from returning to the Gaza Strip, but also we did not expel anyone."

He added: "We did not prevent anyone from returning to Gaza.. If those are involved of committing crimes related to law and the judiciary call one of them, we will carry out orders."

With regard to amnesty, Al-Ghusain explained that there is no until the moment any decision or agreement on this matter.

Moreover, Al-Ghusain said: "If the dialogue sessions have been approved by the leadership on amnesty of all crimes carried out by those, we will implement what is agreed upon."

Al-Ghusain also pointed out that what has been talked about in the dialogue sessions on the amnesty related to studying names that submitted by the Fatah movement, adding: "we are asked to study those names."
In a related context, the Interior Ministry's spokesman confirmed that there are no political prisoners in Gaza.

Al-Ghusain continued: "The names provided by Fatah movement are divided to three categories, some involved of criminal acts, and some accused of killings, and the others accused of security issues and collaboration with the Israeli occupation. These are not considered political detention."

Also, Al-Ghusain asserted that the security services of Ramallah Authority in the West Bank have arrested hundreds of Palestinian citizens on political grounds.
