Palestinian citizens and foreign solidarity activists were treated for teargas suffocation after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) used teargas to quell a peaceful anti wall march in Bilin village, Ramallah, on Friday.

IOF troops also fired rubber coated bullets at the marchers injuring Angela, a 27-year-old Brazilian activist.

Demonstrators hoisted Palestinian flags and photos of late Palestinian president Yasser Arafat on the seventh anniversary of his death and chanted national slogans and demanded the release of all Palestinian prisoners from occupation jails.

In Nabi Saleh, a leader of the popular resistance committees in the village was hit with a rubber bullet in his head from close range, locals said, adding that the 62-year-old man was hospitalized after bleeding for a long time due to the IOF closure of all village entrances.

An 11-year-old child was also hit with a rubber bullet in the same village and carried to a Ramallah hospital while many others were treated on the field for breathing difficulty.

Bilal Tamimi, a cameraman working for the resistance committees and the Israeli organization B’Tselem, was arrested at the hands of the IOF soldiers who beat him up on detention.

An American activist and an unconscious Palestinian citizen were arrested in Kufr Qaddoum village on Friday during a peaceful march demanding an end to settlement activity and the opening of the village’s main street which has been closed by the IOF for nine years while 15 civilians were treated for breathing problems.
