Summer camps is a unique means of entertainment for children in Gaza

Summer camps play an important role in the development of the child, that the methodology activities  supervised by trained and qualified staff, play a major role in developing the talents of children, through working on the development of community spirit of  the participants children , and broaden their intellectual and mental health .

" Dar wa Door " was the name of one of summer camps in Gaza strip , whereas , the children and trainers were joint together to show the talents of children by presenting  theater and read Arabic and French   
 stories .

Dyana Al-Hussari , one of trainers in" Dar wa Door " summer camp , said we began to prepare for this camp since June 1 , 2011 and the actual applying was in June 5 , and the camp will continue for three months "the time of Summer " .

" The camp followed to several parties , such as French center , Al-Qatan center , and heritage architecture " , she added

'Camps contribute to the implantation of a lot of moral and social values and spread the spirit of cooperative social work among children, and help them to enhance their socialization'. Ayman Abu Sharekh , one of  theater trainers in summer camps confirmed

He pointed out , that they help the children to refine the child's personality through theater and drawing , assuring that aims of camps not far from the objectives and policies of the school and family but in a pleasure and joy atmosphere .

He added , the Programs of the camp , have a great interest in the Palestinian society, especially in light of the experienced circumstances by our children, that the childhood is sensitive and critical stage.

    "I like drawing and in this camp the teachers help me to develop my talent , and the camp full of amusement games and I like it ", the child Farah Haboub " , seven years old" , said .    "
Meanwhile , the child Rashed AL-shibli  ( 12 years ) happily said " I came to this camp for joy and amusement , also I like read stories ,  the teachers are very nice , and  I love to play with them "  .
 Once again , Aziza Musabih , the activator in " Dar wa Door " camp , taking briefly on the activates of the camp , pointing out that the aim of this camp is to mix between Palestinian and French heritage by educate children some of French and Palestinian arts .
