Palestinian Minister of Interior visits Gaza prison and meets with police's leadership

Mr. Fathi Hammad, Palestinian Minister of Interior, has visited the Gaza Central Prison and inspected the prisoners' conditions. Also, he has listened to the problems of prisoners and promised to provide all services to them.
  
During his meeting with the leadership of the Palestinian police, the Minister of Interior appreciated the work of police inside the prison, despite all challenges, that were being faced by the police, especially after bombing the headquarters of the Central Prison in Al-Sarayia.
  
The Palestinian Minister of Interior asserted that all the destroyed security headquarters should be reconstructed as soon as possible, and he pointed out that there was a plan prepared for that regard.
  
He stressed on the importance of treating prisoners well treated, and they must be preserved and maintained. Also, Hammad recommended to provide the necessary medical care to prisoners, and provide medicines and all medical supplies.
  
Moreover, Brigadier General Abu Ubaiyda Al-Jarrah, prefect of Palestinian police, welcomed with the Minister of Interior's visit, and stressed on the importance of his visit, that raise the morale of all police members.
  
Brigadier General Al-Jarrah confirmed that they must work hard and do their best to expand the prison, in particular, the prison needs more developments, whereas, it was  established temporary, after the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip.
