GAZA: The Ministry of Social Affairs decided to distribute 7500 of packages food for the needy families

The Ministry of Social Affairs of the Palestinian Government by the chairmanship of Ismail Haniya, decided to distribute 7500 of packages food for the poor and needy families, workers and homeowners affected by the Israeli aggression in all governorates of the Gaza Strip.

Subhi Abu Radwan, the assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs, said in a press release issued by the Information Office of the ministry received the Palestine now today, Sunday, 30/3/2008, that the ministry received such aid through assistance Egyptian entered the Gaza Strip recently, stressing that the ministry will continue its efforts to support the poor and needy families.

He explained that the food packages will be distributed over the next few days to 7500 poor families and needy, through social affairs departments in all governorates of the Gaza Strip, pointing out that the food package contains three major food items, amounting to 250 shekels.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Social Affairs has this month distributed food expelled 10 thousand in all governorates of Gaza to needy families of the workers affected by the Israeli siege imposed on the sector, in addition to that the Palestinian government through the Ministry of Social Affairs last month distributed 500 tons of food and ration for a number of charitable institutions in the Gaza Strip are distributed to the poor and needy families and affected by the Israeli blockade.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Social Affairs will offer its services to more than 30 thousand Palestinian family in the Gaza Strip, despite the scarcity of resources and the closure of the crossings and the arbitrator imposed siege on the Gaza Strip.
