Haniyeh: Blockade increases rate of unemployment

Mr.Ismail Haniyeh ,the head of the Palestinian government in Gaza, has confirmed that the blockade imposed on Gaza Strip for more than five years, prevented a lot of university graduates to compete to get a suitable  jobs for university degrees.

Haniyeh said on Wednesday during a news conference after a tour of some schools in Gaza City that the number of graduates in the strip  is very large, calling for a donation to help the Arab Palestinian rights and strengthen their steadfastness.

He added: "During the Foreign tours with our Arab brothers, we talked about the need to accommodate the numbers of university graduates, and there was a positive promises to follow up and executive decisions from the Arab countries."
 

On Wednesday 26 thousand graduates, distributed in 70 commissions were passed the written examination for the functions in the Ministry of Education in all directorates.

Haniyeh showed that the large number of the members who passing the examination increased the rate of unemployment among the Palestinian graduates of universities in Gaza .


He pointed out that the government doors are always open to the public position for all graduates without exception .
