Major Ayman Al-Batniji, Palestinian police's spokesman in the Gaza Strip, revealed the circumstances of the murder of Ahmed Tnburah, whose body was found after about a month and a half.
Al-Batniji said in a brief conference on Saturday that the two perpetrators of the murder are his brother and his cousin, confirming that they had confessed to the Public Prosecutor in all details, and the necessary legal action will be taken against them.
He pointed out that the police had some difficulty at first to access to the perpetrators because they are very close to the killed child, but after searching they find the perpetrators.
Al-Batniji showed that a lot of rumors after the loss of the child Tnburah were spread, and aimed at promoting the government in Gaza is not able to spread security, based on such incidents of murders.
He stressed that the police were able to fight these rumors legally through communication with competent authorities.
With regard to judicial rulings that have been implemented recently, including death sentences, Al-Batniji stressed that it will continue to protect the lives of citizens and their property.
