Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violently quelled a peaceful anti wall march in Beit Ummar village to the north of Al-Khalil on Saturday, local sources said.
They said that IOF troops encircled the march while on its way to confiscated land near the settlement of Karmi Tzur and fired metal bullets and teargas canisters at participants.
The sources noted that a number of participants were treated for gunshot wounds and others for breathing difficulty.
IOF roadblocks were erected at entrances to the village, as the soldiers searched vehicles and pedestrians.
