Hundreds of Palestinian fishermen are sitting on the beach near the port of Gaza, next to their boats, which did not enter the sea for more than three weeks due to the ongoing crisis of fuel, which prevent them to sail and fish.

Ayman Sadek, 42 year, a Gazan fisherman goes every morning to the port in the west of Gaza City perhaps get a kilo of fresh fish, while he did not find any kind of it for several days following the fuel crisis that negatively affected on the fishermen and stopped their boats.

Moreover, the fisherman Khaled Zeidan said: "The fishermen's situation is deteriorating to a large extent due to the fuel crisis that stopped all vessels, in addition to the lack of fish wealth in the sea because the Israeli occupation prevents all Palestinian fishermen from fishing after more than 3 miles, and that area has only small fish.

Zeidan showed that the sea becomes a rich fish in the current April, whereas, large quantities of fish come to a Gaza beach by Turkey and Israel.

Also, the fisherman Amjad Al-Sharafi indicated that the amount of fuel that was being provided for the fishing boats was decreased because of the crisis, "and every fisherman takes less than 20 liters per day, which is not enough to go into the sea and fishing; so, we are forced to buy the Israeli fuel at a high price."
