Ministry of Interior and National Security has categorically denied that the arrest of Fatah's spokesman in the Gaza Strip Fayez Abu Eita, or any of Fatah activists in Gaza.

Eng. Ihab Al-Ghusain, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry, said in remarks to the y "Quds Press" news agency: "No one of Fatah leader or member was arrested in Gaza, and those names that are stated are invalid."

Al-Ghusain added: "I challenge and I can communicate with all mass media to go to the homes of people whose names were mentioned by Fatah movement, that claimed that they are being arrested in Gaza, and you will find them sitting in their homes. And there is no any arrest for these people."

" Fatah movement has become accustomed to these lies to cover up all crimes that exercised against the Palestinians by increasing the blockade or arresting people in the West Bank." Al-Ghusain said.

Al-Ghusain considered the speech of Fatah movement about arresting its activists in Gaza comes to cover their conspiracy to tighten the siege on the Gaza Strip.

"This is a proof that there are some Fatah members in the Palestinian Authority that reject the reconciliation and they benefit from the division and restrictions imposed on Gaza because they think that they could return on tanks to Gaza by tightening the siege. Their plans to impose their control over Gaza had failed before and they will fail at this stage as well." Al-Ghusain said.
