Ministry of Interior and National Security has opened on Sunday afternoon the civil defense center in Al-Zahra city central Gaza Strip "Al-Wusta".
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Interior and National Security Mr. Fathi Hammad, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Ahmad Kurd , Deputy in the Legislative Council Dr. Salem Slama , Brigadier General Yusuf Al-Zahar, Director General of Civil Defense , Director General of the Palestinian police Brigadier-General Tayseer Al-Batch, and the number of the leaders of the security services.
The minister Hammad said : The opening of the civil defense center in Al-Zahra city comes to continue the march of resistance and stability, pointing out that the opening of the firefighter center is a renewal of challenge and the starting and self-reliance, as he said.
Interior Minister praised capabilities of civil defense personnel and their inherent will and continuous efforts, saying they can build more than a building, despite the blockade and plots.
He pointedout that thefirefightersas much asthey cancontinuetheir dutiesdespite thelack of resources, adding: "The opening of this centeras a challenge messageon the basis ofthe Islamic projectwhich facing the occupation project.
