The energy and natural resources authority in Gaza Strip has declared that the sole power generation station in the enclave has shut down anew on Sunday morning.
It said that only one of its turbines was operated after it received a fuel shipment on Friday via Karm Abu Salem crossing but did not receive any other quantity since then.
The authority renewed preparedness to operate the station with the available fuel whenever it is supplied.
It appealed to all parties to provide enough fuel quantities to operate the station uninterruptedly, warning that repeated operation and closure of the station harms its equipment.
