Adham Abu Selmiya, a spokesman for the Supreme Committee for ambulance and emergency in the Gaza Strip, denied the existence of any quantities of fuel in the ambulances as claimed by some mass media, despite all appeals which launched by the commission.

Abu Selmiya called on the mass media to be accurate and not to nerve people and not to score victories at the expense of the suffering and pain of people, and he said: "We should work together to end this humanitarian crisis."

He explained that "the media broadcast that 500 thousand liters of fuel only entered Gaza for the power station, that is enough for one day only," so must be careful not to overstate the case and if the crisis was resolved. "

Accordingly, Abu Selmiya stressed that the humanitarian situation is deteriorating because of severe shortage of fuel and health services are threatened to stop within a few days due to acute shortage of fuel and constant interruptions of electricity.

"More than 60% of ambulance services are completely stopped due to the lack of fuel, and we are now working under a contingency plan to face the crisis, to deal with emergency cases only in the normal position," warning of any Israeli aggression on Gaza may make us unable to work." Abu Selmiya added.
