General Directorate of Fisheries in the Ministry of Agriculture, confirmed that the occupation forces kidnapped four fishermen from the Sea of the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry said in a statement distributed by the Public Relations and Information Department, that the Israeli gunboats attacked two boats in the Sea north strip, and to the port of Gaza and kidnapped four of the fishermen were engaged in their work as usual.
It stated that the occupation kidnapped the four fishermen, "Adham Mahmoud Abu Reyallah, Mahmmed Mahmoud Abu-Reyallah, Jamal Sultan, and Fadel Jamal Sultan , noting that the occupation forces drove them to an unknown destination.
In this context , the media office at the Ministry of Interior ,shed a light on the suffering of Palestinian fishers who facing a lot of problems and obstacles during their practicing work.
Eng. Adel Attallah ,the general director of General Directorate of fishery , has confirmed that the most important obstacles that hindering the movement of fishers in the sea is the limited area allowed by Israeli occupation in order to fishing inside it .
He showed that the Zionist occupation reduce the area of fishing several times , in an attempt to obstacle the work of fishers inside the sea ,which led to the increasing the rate of unemployment in the strip ,noting that there is 3500 fishers most of the live under the poverty line .
"The kidnapping operations carried out by the occupation in the regular form and without any justified reasons .", Attallah explained In the light of kidnapping four Palestinian fishers yesterday

He said that they cooperate with other international institutions and charities ,such as " Palestinian Red Cross and Islamic Bank" ,in order to improve the situations of Palestinian fishers in the Gaza strip ,noting that they suffering a lot as a result of preventing them to earn their livelihood
.
In turn ,Eng.Jehad Salah , the director of services Department in the fishery confirmed that the occupation gunboats practicing the offensive against Palestinian fishers all the time and in a permanent base ,noting that the fishing is a dangerous job for two reasons ,the first is the geographic position ,and the other is the occupation .
He also said ,that there is no social security for the fishers , so he appealed the government and international organizations to seriously seek in their economical positions and circumstances
.
Meanwhile ,the Ministry of Agriculture warned the occupation and hold them a full responsibility for the lives of Palestinian fishermen and their suffering demanding the release and to take bold positions by international organizations and institutions to protect Palestinian fishermen from the oppression of the occupation and end their continued suffering since years.
