Major Jihad Hamada ,Director of Supply Investigation and precious metals, confirmed that they organized in coordination with the Department of Industrial Development for the Ministry of Economy a joint committee to examine the grinding and cutting discs, where samples were taken at random from all suppliers and dealers of those products.
According to the Maj. Hamada the samples was examined in the equipped laboratories with the necessary tools to perform these tests and the Joint Committee supervised on the tests.
"The serious samples were prevented traded in markets, but the good samples allowed to trade in markets.", he added
He also stressed , that the goal of the campaign is to ensure the conformity of grinding and cutting discs to Standards in order to maintain the safety and lives of citizens
