Colonel Imad Al-Amassi, general director of anti-drugs administration in the Palestinian police confirmed the anti-drugs unit raised the level of investigation to search for drug dealers by 100%.
Al-Amassi said in a statement on Monday: "We formed several groups to severely control, whereas, the anti-drugs police will always be the lookout."
Moreover, Al-Amassi stressed that the anti-drugs unit "will fiercely confront the Zionist project," adding "We will not allow the entry of drugs into our steadfast Gaza Strip."
