Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya has invited Kuwaiti businessmen to invest in Palestine during a meeting with members of the chamber of commerce and industry.
Haneyya reviewed the economic conditions in the Gaza Strip with the chamber’s head, his deputy, and its members and the impact of the Israeli blockade on the coastal enclave, and invited them to visit Gaza.
The premier elaborated on how the Palestinian private sector contributed in foiling the siege, and asked the Kuwaiti private sector to invest in Palestine in general and in Gaza in particular.
An agreement was reached at conclusion of the meeting to intensify contacts between the two sides and to hold detailed meetings involving specialists.
