Al-Ghusain: We are ready for implementing what agreed by Palestinian factions to end the division

Eng. Ihab Al- Ghusain, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior and National Security, confirmed the ministry's willingness to implement what agreed by the factions; because our great strategy and aim is to end the division, and "We have no problem because the freedoms are guaranteed, and we have great conviction to give all people their rights."
 

Al-Ghusain unveiled in a statement to "Felesteen newspaper" information signified that Fatah movement's legation issued charges against Hamas movement and belittled the good initiatives that announced by the Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh.

He explained that the evidences show the situations inside the Gaza Strip, particularly the Freedoms Committee witness to the fact, noting that all what have been agreed is implemented on the ground.
 

Moreover, Al-Ghusain reported that the security services of Ramallah in the West Bank do not carry out any political decisions, or initiate any good initiative as what happened in Gaza.

Haniyeh was announced recently several decisions; in order to overcome the obstacles to implement the national reconciliation, as he announced to hand over the house of Mahmoud Abbas to Fatah mocement, and he agreed on opening the Central Election Commission in the Gaza Strip. As well as Haniyeh agreed on returning 80 Fatah members to Gaza, and 26 employees returned to their work in the Ministry of Interior.
 

With regard to the latest developments for the issuance of passports, "This issue was proposed by the freedoms commission, and the Interior Ministry is committed to this, but Fatah movement did not respond to the Freedoms Committee in this regard." Al-Ghusain said.

Al-Ghusain also added: "We agreed to send passports to Gaza and be given to citizens because this is unconditioned right, and we positively respond but there is no response until the moment from Fatah movement."
 

Commenting on a question about the sanctions against those who make mistakes in the security services? Al-Ghusain showed the nterior Ministry has competent authorities to monitor its work and performance of the security services.

Also, Al-Ghusain talked about the position of the Ministry of Interior on returning many of Fatah members accused of committing crimes, whereas, the ministry did not prevent anyone from returning to Gaza or expel anyone (..) who wants to return, he can, but we said that there are judicial proceedings ".
 

He added: "If there is an agreement between the committees of reconciliation that is pardon and overlook the judicial proceedings, and we are committed to what is agreed upon."

Concerning the problems of the Rafah crossing and some jams in the registry for travelers, Al-Ghusain stressed that there is variation in the subject of the crossing, that there are periods in which increases travel times and less.
 

He added: "There is no radical solution to the issue of passengers, we need to an open crossing around the clock for all citizens to travel at any time."
 

On the other hand, the Interior Ministry's spokesman talked about the realignment of the associations in the Gaza Strip, saying: "In previous era there were hundreds of associations with fake names."

With regard to the training plan and activating the policemen, Al-Ghusain said: "After the war there was a great plan to develop all human cadres in the Ministry of Interior, whereas, the Police College was established, which became similar to Arab colleges in the region."
 

He also noted that there is the Directorate General of Training, which provide all employees with courses, following: "our capital is to develop the human beings because they help us to develop our practical performance, despite the blockade and the lack of resources and past experiences."

Al-Ghusain confirmed that there are no criticisms now, and there are not deliberated or continued errors, adding: "We have good experience and we can transfer our experience to others. and we will accommodate two people from each Arab country to teach at the Police College, and these certificated by global centers specializing in the security issue" .
