Ministry of Interior and National Security has launched during the last few days a wide campaign to remove encroachments on government lands in the Gaza Strip, where the campaign included removal of a number of encroachments on government lands in the strip, where the Ministry of "Interior shed a light on the economic dimensions of this campaign.

For his part, Dr. Ayman Abed , General director of studies in the Ministry of Economy, welcomed the role of the Ministry of Interior to remove the encroachments on government lands , stressing that the campaign starts from the principle of law applies to everyone.
Abed showed that the Gaza Strip in dire need to expand the agricultural sector to suit the population growth in the strip , and not to provide self-sufficiency where the products are exported abroad through Israeli companies as an Israeli producer, Israeli and persisting: "We must allow to export the Palestinian product as a Palestinian, not Israeli."
Abed added : "The Gaza Strip need to build 80 thousand housing units are carried out through the private sector of the Housing Council of the Ministry of Housing, alluding to the need to stand in front of the private sector that exploits the Palestinian citizens in some times.
He explained that the purpose of removal of encroachment on government lands in the interest of the citizen, through the participation of citizens in the housing projects, "therefore there is a run of the labor of graduate engineers, accountants and others in addition to the working class."
Abed said: One dunum "enough to build a residential tower is enough for 32 families, provided by the State for a private citizen graduates of universities and a commensurate prices with the standard of living for them.
He noted that this land could otherwise be used as areas of industrial and professional benefit for a large segment of the working groups in the sector, as well as building hospitals and schools.
He considered that the removal of infringements will play a major role in the consolidation of schools in the morning and the abolition of the night time which burdens the Palestinian child, that the two period education system founded in the Gaza Strip only .
Once again , Abed said that the campaign to remove encroachments are first and foremost in the public interest of the citizen and not against him , asserting: "The aim of campaign is awareness and have a social, psychological, economic dimensions, and showed that in the case of recovery to the government lands abused by some citizens the land prices will reduced in general to be able to Palestinian citizens to buy land at reasonable prices.
