Dr. Atallah Abu Al-Subah, Minister of Prisoners' Affairs, has condemned kidnapping Dr. Aziz Dweik, head of the PLC, by the Israeli occupation forces, on one of the Israeli checkpoints in the north-east of Jerusalem, holding the Israeli occupation full responsibility for the lives and safety of Dr. Dweik.
Abu Al-Subah confirmed in a press release that the kidnapping of Dr. Dweik, comes at a sensitive time when the Palestinian people are looking forward to end the division and achieve the national reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas, stressing that the policy of the Israeli piracy breaks down the Palestinian reconciliation.
Moreover, Abu Al-Subah called the Palestinian Authority to stop all forms of direct and indirect negotiations with the occupation, affirming that the path of negotiation over its history has not succeeded in the release of a prisoner. He stressed on the need to move forward in the path of reconciliation.
Therefore, Abu Al-Subah called all human rights organizations, that claim to defend human rights that have a clear position regarding the abduction of the Palestinian People's deputies and immediately intervene to release Dr. Dweik and all kidnapped deputies, and expose the Israeli policy in all international forums.
Abu Al-Subah also demanded all local and international mass media to shed light on the kidnapping of Dr. Aziz Dweik, and highlight what is committed by Netanyahu government against the prisoners.
