A Palestinian man was killed and four were injured in an explosion that ripped through the house of Sheikh Zuhair Al-Qaisi, the secretary general of the popular resistance committees in Rafah to the south of the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
Adham Abu Salmiya, the spokesman for the higher committee for ambulance and emergency in Gaza, told that one of the injured was in a very serious condition.
Local sources earlier told that Sheikh Zuhair was not in his house at time of the explosion.
No reason was known for the explosion
