Palestinian Health Minister Dr. Bassem Naim discussed with his Turkish counterpart in Istanbul, Turkey, the latest developments in the health sector in the Gaza Strip, especially after the direct impact of the Israeli war and siege on the Gaza Strip.
Dr. Naim said in a statement on Sunday that he "discussed with his Turkish counterpart ways of supporting the health sector in the Gaza Strip, through providing the Gaza Strip with medicines and health supplies, and trying to fill the deficit in the case.
Furthermore, Dr. Naim discussed with him the formation of mutual visits to discuss ways of cooperation and support, noting that the issue of sending delegations to benefit from the Turkish experience in the health field and open channels of communication in this specialization.
