Government Information Office has denied what was published by Sama news website in the Gaza Strip on media newspapers and institutions and passed by many mass media.
The Government Information Office confirmed that the news is an unknown source and this is incompatible with the assets of the media professional work; so, it is fabricated and unrealistic.
The statement pointed out that the content and details of the news refers to the security leak, because it is a half-truth, and this aims to mutilation, disturbing the reconciliation by publishing distorted and inaccurate news.
The statement added: "We are still at our positive initiatives that all Palestinian newspapers allowed to work freely in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, which until this moment did not find an echo for decision-makers in the West Bank."
Moreover, it explained that the newspapers which issued in the West Bank have offices and correspondents in the Gaza Strip, that working freely, and the newspapers itself only do not enter Gaza until the moment. While the newspapers which issued in Gaza are not allowed to have offices and correspondents and printing and distribution in the West Bank.
Accordingly, the Government Information Office called all professional and highly regarded mass media to be careful of falling into the trap of propaganda, and not to deal with anonymous news; because this harms them and their professionalism.
