Lieutenant colonel Amer Issa, director general of police guarding, confirmed that the work of police guard is to guard the security headquarters and governmental institutions, noting that they always seek to organize refresher courses for their members, in collaboration with the department for training in the police "to develop cadres."
Lieutenant colonel Issa explained that the police guarding are working according to annual work plan that includes many items that seeks to provide the necessary resources to patrol the entire institution, wishing to have a bright role in this field.
In turn, Maj. Majid Aqelan, director of police guarding in Gaza, asserted that the most important task of police guarding in his governorate is to secure and guard ministries, governmental institutions, NGOs, banks and all the headquarters of government in general and the Ministry of Interior in particular in the working hours and at night.
He continued: "We assist these institutions in solving some problems, as well as we work to ensure the transfer of bank funds."
Lieutenant Zain Eddin Muheisen, director of Armament Department, confirmed that the operations department is the link between the central administration and personnel deployed in various institutions.
Moreover, staff sergeant Adel Hajaj, director of follow-up and irregularities department, confirmed that hid department is the central service in the police escorts to follow individuals periodically, adding: "It is within our future plans to seek work on the electronic archiving of all our dealings, as well as seeking to develop human resources to gain new experiences."
