Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security confirmed that all security services and police have completed all security preparations for the festival of Islamic resistance movement "Hamas" on Wednesday, December 14th at Al-Kateeba in Gaza city.
Eng. Ihab Al-Ghusain, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry, said: "The ministry has developed a comprehensive traffic plans for the traffic movement and the spread of policemen everywhere, in addition to providing security for VIPs and facilitate the movement of citizens to the place of the festival."
Al-Ghusain said in a statement to " Interior Ministry's website" on Tuesday 13/12 that a high central committee, including all security services, was formed to arrange the security matters and ensure the field conditions, especially in the land of Al-Kateeba.
Furthermore, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry said: "Traffic Police will open public streets; to facilitate the movement of pedestrians and citizens in all major junctions surrounding Al-Kateeba."
Al-Ghusain pointed out that the police prepared the place of the festival, noting that all policemen will deploy tomorrow morning in the vicinity of the festival.
Accordingly, Al-Ghusain called on all citizens to comply with the law and follow the instructions of security services and police, and not to use fire and fireworks, warning anyone who violates those instructions that will be punished.
