Gaza-Interior Ministry
A delegationfrom the Ministry ofWomen's Affairs have congratulated Mr. FathiHammad ,theMinister ofInterior and National Security,on the occasion ofreceivinga master's degreein history from theIslamic University of Gazalast Tuesday.
The Delegationincluded Ms.Jamela Al-Shanti,the Minister ofWomen Affairsand Mrs. MonaHaroon, undersecretary of the Ministry and anumber ofdirectors generalat the ministry.
The two sides discussedways of cooperationbetween the two ministriesespeciallyabout the possibility ofopeninga section forstudentsin the Faculty ofpolice andallowto join it.
For his part,the Minister ofInteriorpromised to studythe request andsaid,"We willopena section forfemalestudentsin the Faculty ofpolicein our planfor2012,especially in the light ofthe shortagesuffered bythe ministrystaffin theWomen'spoliceman."
Hammadconfirmed on the role ofPalestinian womenstandside byside with menin keeping security.
