Mr. Fathi Hammad , the Minister of Interior and National Security, has appreciated the great efforts made by the civil defense crews to maintain the life of citizens and reduce the losses and disasters facing them that the last of it was extinguishing fire that broke out in a house consisting of 3 floors in the village of Al-Musadar in the central Gaza Strip, led to injuring fireman during his performance to the humanitarian and national duty .
The Ministry of Interior confirms the readiness of civil defense crews to serve their people and their rapidly presence in the times of emergency, and his fortunate personalities who prove day after day, their competence in the field and the speed of dealing with events.
The civil defense men sacrifice their lives and their bodies every day headstrong flames to save lives and property of their people, so we must be thankful to those who give their pure lives as a sacrifice in order to rescue the citizens from drowning or a fire and etc .
Hence, the Ministry of Interior headed by its Minister Mr. Fathi Hammad, offerd his warmest thanks and appreciation to all officers and soldiers of the civil defense, led by Brigadier General Yusuf Al-Zahar, Director General of Civil Defense on their performance and speed of their dealing with emergency situations and save the lives of citizens.
These great achievements came despite thelack ofpossibilities and the constant target by the Zionist occupation, which proves to the enemy that the will and affiliation to the Palestinian people make the civil defense men to face death and sacrifice their lives to defend their people anditsproperty.
The actions of civil defense menpreceded their words, and the work is ongoing with the sacrifices, and the civil defense will remain a safety valve for the Palestinian society, continuing to achieve heroism and the achievements that talked by the enemy before the friend and international institutions working in the areas of civil protection.
