Israeli gunboats detain two Palestinian fishermen

Israeli navy gunboats abducted two Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Shati refugee camp west of Gaza on Monday evening while fishing in regional waters.

Sources in the Palestinian fishermen syndicate said that the Israeli navy boats chased the Palestinian fishing boat and steered it to an unknown location.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces detained a Jerusalemite lecturer from his home in Beit Hanina to the north of occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources said that an IOF unit stormed the home of Dr. Nasser Abul Saud, who works as a lecturer at the Open Quds University, and searched it then took the professor away.

Other sources said that the IOF soldiers arrested a young man in Beit Safafa village in occupied Jerusalem.

The IOF troops rounded up 11 Palestinians in various West Bank areas on Monday.
