The Israeli occupation authority extended the administrative detention, without trial or charge, of Palestinian MP Mohammed Bader for four months for the third consecutive time.

The office of Hamas lawmakers in the West Bank denounced the step in a statement on Wednesday, describing it as a systematic policy being practiced by the IOA against the duly elected representatives of the people.

It said that the policy would not succeed and the MPs would remain part and parcel of the people and would not be separated from them or their issues.

Bader, 55, has spent more than 100 months in IOA jails in separate intervals. He has a doctorate in Islamic Sharia worked as a lecturer at Al-Khalil University.
