Civil defensecrews were able to extinguish a large fire the day before yesterday, occurred in thefuel truck and "petrol tank" in the Rafah area of ??the Egyptian-Palestinian border.
Thedepartment of operations reported that more than five cars off in addition to more than 25 fireman and workers of the civil defense in the province and participated in the process of extinguishing the fire.
She explained that the cause of the fire is electrical short occurred in a fuel vehicle, as a result the fire launched in the storage areas. The losses are estimated at 50 thousand liters of gasoline in addition to the truck and damage in the place, estimated with " $ 50,000 approximately."
Thefirefighter was Walid Al-Khalidi who suffered from suffocation during the fire extinguished, due to the non-application security requirements and public safety required by the civil defense from the owners of the tunnels.
