Palestinian worker killed by tunnel collapse southern Gaza Strip

Palestinian worker was killed in the early hours of Tuesday (25/10), due to the collapse of a tunnel on the Egyptian- Palestinian in Rafah, in southern the Gaza Strip.

Adham Abu Salmiya, spokesman for supreme committee for ambulance and emergency in Gaza, said the civil defense crews recovered the body of the young Ahmad Rabea'a, 29, several hours after the collapse of a tunnel in Al-Brazil area in Rafah and took him to Abu Yousef Al Najjar Hospital in Rafah.

It is noteworthy that dozens of Palestinian workers were killed, while hundreds were injured by the collapse of underground tunnels, which used to bring food, building materials and fuel from Egypt into the Gaza Strip.
