Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested a Palestinian young man in the Old City of Al-Khalil on Sunday for allegedly trying to stab a soldier near the Ibrahimi mosque.
Local sources said that the IOF soldiers detained a young man in the Old City after claiming that he had a knife in his possession and did not disclose his identity.
The IOF soldiers detained the Palestinian woman Salwa Hassan, also from Al-Khalil, three days ago after claiming she tried to stab an Israeli soldier north of Al-Khalil near Etzion. She was the first woman to be detained after the conclusion of the Shalit deal in which all Palestinian women were freed from Israeli occupation jails.
