Radwan: We realistically deal with encroachments on governmental lands

Eng. Ibrahim Radwan, head of Land Authority, confirmed that the Land Authority alleviates the suffering of the Palestinian people by facilitating the work procedures; to save the citizens' rights and compensate the damages, in addition to develop and reform all departments; to achieve the goal in the development and prosperity.
 

Meanwhile, a delegation from the Information Office of Ministry of Interior visited the Department of Public Relations and Media in the Land Authority; in order to develop the media work between the media department at the Ministry of Interior and the others ministries in the Palestinian government.
 

Furthermore, Eng. Radwan praised the joint and continued cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and police forces, particularly in cases of encroachments on the governmental lands. He also showed the active role which played by the media to clarify the right image for the real role of the Land Authority and its duty to maintain public lands and interests of citizens.
 

Eng. Radwan expressed admiration and appreciation for the media department at the Ministry of interior, confirming that all competent authorities in the Palestinian government will deal realistically with the various encroachments on the governmental lands in the Gaza Strip, away from any action that harms the public interest.
 

As well as, Amal Shamali, who responsible for public relations department, affirmed that the land is an essential source of power, wealth and social prestige, it is the basis for shelter, food and economic activity; so, it become a scarce resource more and more in urban areas.

"The Authority of Land was established according to the Presidential Decree No. (10/2002) on 5.6.2002, as that the Land Authority has an independent legal personality and full legal capacity to undertake all actions and behaviors that ensure the achievement of purposes. " Shamali said.
 

Shamali also explained that the Land Authority is still resolving the problem of encroachments on the governmental lands, which allocated for housing and service projects.
