Palestinian government has strongly condemned setting fire by extremist settlers to a mosque in the region of Upper Galilee, in the north of occupied Palestine.
Taher Al-Nono, the Palestinian government's spokesman, said: "This crime shows the situation of growing and dangerous racism inside the Israeli entity, which threatens the Palestinian presence and protected from the Israeli police and army."
He stressed that these brutal actions against the houses of worship and this blatant violation of basic human values and rules of human conduct would not have been without the approval of the Israeli government, that led by Netanyahu, and the presence of political cover from Obama administration, in addition to the inability of the international community to prosecute criminals.
Accordingly, Al-Nono called the international community to move urgently to protect our people in the occupied Palestine and stop the Israeli crimes which committed against the Palestinian citizens and their homes, mosques and lands.
