Brigadier General Yussof Al-Zahar, general director of Civil Defense, has met on Tuesday 4/10/2011 a Malaysian delegation from Aman-Palestine Association, headed by Sufian Bin Ong, at the headquarters of Civil Defense in the west of Gaza.
Brigadier General Al-Zahar welcomed the Malaysian delegation, reviewing the damage which inflicted the components of civil defense during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip. Consequently, he called the delegation to provide assistance to cover part the deficit that suffered by the civil defense.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian delegation thanked the leadership of civil defense for the warm reception, and they confirmed that they will provide some fire fighting equipment, appreciating the great efforts that made by civil defense crews; to alleviate the suffering of their people in the Gaza Strip.
