Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, spokesman for Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, confirmed in his speech about the direction of Palestinian Authority toward the United Nations on 23rd of September; to obtain a recognition of a Palestinian state, that the Palestinian people face many political adventures and this direction is a dangerous adventure which might affect the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
Abu Zuhri said during a symposium held by the political and moral guidance committee at Ministry of Interior and National Security for officers of security agencies about the legal and political dimensions of September, at the Great Hall at the Ministry of Prisoners' in Gaza, "We are facing a fateful matter that affect on the future of Palestinian people, and I think that this is a serious adventure which may affects on the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people. "
Abu Zuhri talked about the political dimension of September, stressing that thinking in this unstudied step is a reflection of a crisis that experienced by Oslo group, beginning with the failure of negotiations, and making statements which do not have any appreciation for the Palestinian people.
"They want to venture the fate of the Palestinian people without consulting anyone, adding that Hamas movement did not make any attempt to brake this act." Abu Zuhri added.
He noted that in addition to these risks "will lose the sympathy of the people after it is recognized that we state," stressing that there are significant risks for this step.
Abu Zuhri pointed out that even if the United Nations has recognized the Palestinian state, the Israeli occupation would not leave the Palestinian lands.
He also added: "fatah goes to the United Nations individually, so, it holds responsibility to our people about the waste of any rights of our people," explaining that any announcement affects on the rights and constants of the Palestinian people would not commit and it is unacceptable.
Spokesman for Hamas expressed appreciation to the positions of all parties and countries that support and stand by the Palestinian issue.
Regarding the continuous contacts between the leaderships of Fatah and Hamas, Abu Zuhri said that formality contact have been held in Beirut and now they are investigating about meetings in Gaza, emphasizing that Fatah does not have any real intentions to apply the reconciliation.
