Gaza-Interior Ministry
Mr. Tharwat Al-Baik , Director General for Public Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, has confirmed that his administration working on the licensing and monitoring the functioning of the associations in Gaza Strip, where the number of associations which were registered during the year 2011 amounted to (900) Society including (64 foreign association )
Al-Baik showed , that the license granted for (64 ) departments of the foreign societies working in the Gaza strip , stressing that the licenses granted for each association serving our people ,and does not affect in our ideological and cultural society .
On the other hand , he explained that they issued a large number of good behavior certificates during the year 2011 in the central administration in the governorates of Gaza Strip, where these certificates granted for citizen in five minutes."
He stressed that they does not prevent the extraction of the certificates on the political affiliation as in the West Bank, noting that the Interior Ministry directorates in the governorates issued a certificate of good behavior, to save time, effort and money to citizens.
Al-Baik continued , that they work hard to provide the best service in the fastest time and the maximum benefit for all."
Also, he praised the achievements made by his Department towards the associations within a short period in the planning, development, coordination, and preparation of detailed studies of the objectives of the association, and financial control and auditing of funds so as not to go into the hands of our people and corrupt pockets .
Once again , Al-Baik confirmed that General directorate for Public Affairs at the Ministry of Interior working in order to keep and protect the workers inside associations and the citizens who deal with such these assemblies .
