Transportation ministry carried out a campaign to address situation of gas stations

The Ministry of Transport and Communications has launched a campaign to re-check to force the gas stations to follow safety and traffic rules, and make sure that all traffic signals allocated in the places of it .

 

Baha Agha , Director General of engineering vehicles , noted that the ministry has developed a plan to address the status of fuel stations deployed in the Gaza Strip in order to raise the level of these stations and provide the best services and the provision of all means of safety required it, by developing master plans for all facilities of the station and its entrances and exits in line with the regulations and instructions and the requirements of customers in the stations and requiring the owners to rehabilitate and improve their stations according to a certain time frame , including the ongoing cleaning and restoration and painting of all buildings and the development of signs and attention to safety means.

 


He said that the ministry have tended to study the situation of gas stations in neighborhoods and communities, which got licenses earlier in the step of subjecting the plants to the conditions and safety requirements.


It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Transport and Communications granted the final licenses in the fuel stations in Gaza city , which is more than 96 stations.


It is noteworthy , that the Ministry of Transport and Communications recently carried out a campaign to removeand organize  the random gas stations in densely populated areas, which were a threat the life of citizen.
