Adham Abu Selmiya, spokesman for Supreme Committee of Ambulance and Emergency in the Gaza Strip, has called on Sunday the international community to protect Palestinian civilians from the continuous Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip three days ago, which resulted 15 citizens were killed and dozens were injured.

Abu Selmiya said in a press statement: "It is enough on Gaza Strip to fall more casualties, particularly due to the crippling blockade against the health facilities and all fields of life."

"The continued Israeli aggression on Gaza since Thursday evening led to15 martyrs, including three children and a doctor, while more than 55 residents were wounded, including 12 women and 15 children." Abu Selmiya added.

Abu Selmiya stated that all these martyrs arrived to the Gaza Strip hospitals torn and charred bodies which puts a big question marks on the quality of weapons which used by the Israeli occupation forces against civilians.

Therefore, Abu Selmiya called the international community and the European Union to act on the basis of the rules of international humanitarian law and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which stipulates that civilians must be protected and not exposed to them during military operations.
