And who prevents the promotion of rotten food ? This is answered by the Department of Investigation of Supply in the Ministry of Interior and National Security in the following report:
Intensive visits :
Maj. Jihad Hamada , Director of Investigation of Supply , has confirmed that the detectives follow the positive steps in coordination with the Department of Consumer Protection in the Ministry of National Economy and the Department of Preventive Medicine, Ministry of Health, the health of municipalities and local government against rotten food in Gaza markets especially in the month of Ramadan .
He added: "In the month of Ramadan the citizen buy the milk, cheese, meat, and frozen and other goods, whereupon Investigation of Supply carried out multiple visits to all stores selling food and distributed notices to shop owners who offer frozen meat out of the refrigerator and that leads to decay it , and the merchant undertakes not to offer the rotten food in his shop. "
Hamadeh said that to repeat frozen meat out of the refrigerator leads to call the owner of the goods to take legal action against him , then transferred to the prosecutor to complete the procedures, and pay a fine.
Significant cooperation
He explained that there is a significant cooperation between the merchants and Investigation of Supply and the relevant ministries so that if any materials are corrupt reported to the investigation to damage it .
He continued: " We also seized about 300 kilograms corrupted materials during the first 48 hours of Ramadan, and the quantity seized in the presence of specialists and technicians from the Ministry of Health and the national economy, pointing out that the majority of damages were for frozen meat, milk, sodas, and soft drinks.
Regarding , the goods that pass through the tunnels Hamadeh said: " We do not allow the passage of rotten goods to the Gaza Strip in any way, and the control follow the work via tunnels in a cooperation of traders, that there are traders and agents of international brands, if any merchant Brand Imitation and sold in the market without their knowledge, they must inform the Investigation of Supply to investigate and call the offending person. "
He stressed that the Investigation of Supply receive formal complaints about traders who increase their prices, noting that there is a special number to receive complaints has previously published through mass media and it is 0598692962, explaining that the supply investigation monitors closely monitored the development of the traders on the pricing of goods.
Campaign to bakeries and restaurants
About fireworks and crackers Hamada said : " fireworks witness
a great reduction, and they control of all traders who sell fireworks.
Hamada pointed out that the Investigation of Supply is leading the campaign to bakeries and restaurants, to search for the observance of the conditions of health and safety.
Hamada delivered the message to the dealers asked them to fear from God, and not cheating in this holy month, and asked citizens to inform any case of fraud ,assuring that the "Investigation of Supply will be immediately in place."
Notably , that the Investigation of Supply recently seized a factory in Gaza and confiscated all the contents of the factory from , mechanism, raw materials and manufactured materials and confiscated all the quantities of dumdum ,which has a sever danger to the children, and their eyes as a result of playing in it .
