Higher National Committee for the summer camps followed to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has organized a workshop to evaluate the summer camps in 2011, yesterday, at the headquarter of the Ministry in Gaza, in the presence of the President of the Supreme National Committee for Summer Camps Ahmed Ashkar and general manager of the directorates Jamal Al-Oqili, and the General Director of Youth Mr. Zakaria Al-Hour.
Ahmad Ashkar welcomed the attendees and explained that the Committee has succeeded in the implementation of (75) camps in cooperation with the institutions of the community, and added that the camps were set up contributed to achieve the desired objectives and strengthen the partnership between the Ministry and NGOs.
He showed , that the recommendations of the Minister, Dr. Mohammed Al-Madhoun was adopted a new policy in the administration of summer camps, through the development of new mechanisms in order to facilitate the task of implementing institutions and identify quality of programs that needed by youth and the Avant-garde and children.
At the end of the meeting was opened for discussion with the audience and respond to all inquiries and recommendations that help to improve the camps in the coming years, then distributed certificates to the participated association in the camps and the directorates of the ministry.
