Municipality of Gaza has appealed the citizens to rationalize water consumption and no extravagance in it to ensure the access of water for all and to avoid a crisis, saying it has made unremitting efforts with all concerned sides to overcome the frequent interruption of drinking water.
Gaza City was suffered a lot for several days from continuous cutting of drinking water , which led citizens in the case of permanent warning and anticipation , that they resort to mobilize "Qlnat" of water in the case of any emergency.
The municipality expressed its regrets to the repeated interruption of the drinking water that reaches the homes of citizens, stressing that the reason for this drop is due to the recurring failures in the sea power line by the Israeli side, which feeds water wells in the northern Gaza Strip with electricity which led to a problem in the delivery of water to the houses in the city irregularity coincided with the very high temperatures lead to increase water consumption.
