Gaza – Interior Ministry
Mr. Riad Bitar ,genral director of aid and rehabilitation of family in the Ministry of Social Affairs , has stated in a statement issued by the Information Office of the Ministry, that the Ministry of Social Affairs has started distributing food supplies provided by the World Food Program on "21" A beneficiary families and is registered in the Ministry of Social Affairs for the months of July and August 2011 , stressing that this is a continuation of the work of the ministry to provide assistance and material supply to poor households.
Al- Bitar thanked and appreciated all donors to their role in reducing the impact of the unjust siege imposed on Gaza strip.
He noted , that the distribution constant in all directorates of social affairs in the Gaza Strip for two weeks from the date of distribution, every one according to his governorate , calling on donor countries and all concerned parties to exert utmost efforts to provide aid for all needy families, stressing that the ministry will continue to spend its efforts to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian people
Also , Al-Bitar showed that the ministry exchange for 52 NGO and a government al hospitals , training centers and community-based rehabilitation and empowerment of women and society of the Ministry of Social Affairs from the World Food Program.
