Palestinian Ministry of Interior is dealing with charitable associations and non-governmental organizations according to the law of charities and non-governmental organizations no. (1) for the year 2011and its executive regulations and amendments. So, Sharek Association was closed and its cause is pending before the Palestinian High Court of Justice which have jurisdiction in this matter.
Interior Ministry wishes that all local and foreign authorities to be accurate and take information from reliable sources.
Concerning the careful examination of local and foreign associations, this is stated in the law which mentioned above. Interior Ministry do not search headquarters and recall employees as reported in some statements, but it makes financial and administrative examination for the benefit of the association, donors and Palestinian society; to make sure that the donated money was rightly spent on and went to the beneficiaries, note that the examination process does not affect the functioning of the assembly.
