A Palestinian farmer was wounded north of the Gaza Strip at noon Saturday when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at a group of farmers in the area, medical sources said.
Adham Abu Salmiya, the spokesman for medical services, said that a farmer in his twenties was taken to hospital after sustaining injuries in the IOF shooting to the north of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
He described the youth’s condition as moderate to serious, adding that he was hit with a bullet in the head.
