Interior Ministry: We will not tolerate anyone caught firing bullets

Statement issued by Ministry of Interior and National Security
On the occasion of declaring results of general secondary in the Palestinian territories

Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security has blessed the success of general secondary students "Twjihi" for 2011 and wish them continued success and excellence.


Ministry of Interior represented by its minister Mr. Fathi Hammad, leaders of its security services and directors of departments congratulated the successful and talented students in the general secondary certificate and their parents, appreciating the great effort made by Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the success of declaring the general secondary's results.


The ministry considers the success of holding and declaring the results of general secondary as a national achievement, and it expresses its best wishes for the successful and talented students to make their way towards success and prosperity.


Ministry of Interior and National Security warns of firing bullets by some jubilant citizens in the air, and it stresses that the law will take its course to punish violators.


Moreover, Interior Ministry pointed out that some shooters in the atmosphere of the Gaza Strip with the end of declaring the results of general secondary on Sunday caused the death of a student Fatma Al-Msader from the population of Central governorate, who has got 95.6%, and firing bullets also injured another student.


Ministry of Interior and National Security warns of the dangers of fireworks which fired in the air rejoicing with the success of high school students, and it draws attention to the risks and bad effects that caused by these explosives if it injured citizens.


Accordingly, Interior Ministry stresses that it will not tolerate anyone caught firing or using explosives.
It also warns traders and sellers of importing and selling firearms and explosives, and it will punish those and take strict legal procedures.
