Traffic campaign has been lunched on Thursday 7/7/2011, in the Gaza Strip which is intensified for discipline on the road according to law.
Many traffic policemen in the Ministry of Interior and safety patrols on the roads in the Ministry of Transport and Communications spread on the main junctions and important streets of Gaza.
Maj. Majdi Abu Hatab, supervisor on traffic campaign in Gaza, said: "We aim through the campaign to instruct citizens and drivers to make license for their vehicles and obtain a driver's license and provide a full legal process."
Abu Hatab pointed out that the campaign include all vehicles including motorcycles and Toktok, emphasizing their efforts to follow all vehicles in the Gaza Strip.
Moreover, Col. Kamal Abu Nada said that the campaign is going well, noting that 90% of the Palestinian street in the Gaza Strip are committed to the campaign, which lunched on the seventh of July.
Abu Nada showed that the offices of license, insurance, and driving schools have become crowded with citizens and drivers who want to comply with the law as they walked with their vehicles.
