Gaza-Interior Ministry
Mr. Fathi Hammad , Minister of Interior and National Security , has met on Saturday evening, the leadership of Jordanian military field hospital "Gaza / 14" at Al-Huda rest on Gaza beach and in the presence of Mr. Sami Nofal the Comptroller General of the Ministry of Interior.
The Jordanian delegation was headed by Colonel Raed Slaith Force Commander of the Jordanian hospital, Dr. Colonel Issa Khashashneh , the director of the hospital, and Col. Moussa Al-Zein , external liaison officer, Captain Abdullah Shraideh, internal liaison officer to and Mr. Firas Abu Eida, the Palestinian liaison officer.
The Minister of Interior has discussed ways to enhance cooperation and develop the work in the field hospital with the Jordan medical delegation, saying the ministry provide all the support and necessary facilities for the success of the mission of the medical staff.
Hammad thanked King Abdullah II of Jordan for his continuous support to the Palestinian people especially in the Gaza Strip.
He reviewed the reality faced by the people of the Gaza Strip under the unjust embargo, stressing that the blockade did not deter the resolve of the Palestinian people, but it increase them strength and stiffness.
He also mentioned the number and the achievements of the Palestinian government to control security and safety in addition to its achievements in terms of economy, agriculture, reconstruction, despite the blockade
