Shipment of drugs arrives Gaza

Arab Doctors Union have sent a shipment of medicines and medical equipments, which included more than four tons worth 290 thousand dollars to the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

 

This is the first convoy to enter Gaza by the Arab Doctors Union through the port of Rafah after the events of 25 January revolution, that consists of 5 tons of medical aid and medicines, which contain 24 kinds of drugs that run out in Gaza.
 
The convoy headed by Secretary-General of Relief Committee and Emergency at the Arab Doctors Union Ibrahim Al-Za'farani accompanied by Director of Arab Center for Medical Training Ashraf Barakat and official of projects Hisham Kamal, in addition to other members.


Al-Za'farani expressed the happiness of members of Arab Doctors Union to arrive the Gaza Strip, as they stand next to their parents and their families and provide support to their steadfastness to defense on their dignity and holy places.

 
Head of Arab Doctors Union office in Gaza Mohammed Al-Aklouk thanked delegation on their visit, stressing on the importance of exerting all efforts to help the people of Gaza.

 

Ministry of Health has warned of a continuing reduction in quantities of medicines and medical supplies, emphasizing the need to do everything possible to avoid a health tragedy in the Gaza Strip's hospitals.
